The original and very talented singer of Bembeya Jazz National, Demba Camara, died in a car crash 6 years before this video was shot. The three singer/dancers are another group who stepped in to fill the gap, though BJN was never the same after Camara’s death. I recommend listening to the studio recording of this tune, it’s even more amazing than this great video!
